REDDITCH Philatelic Society will mark its 35th anniversary by holding a major stamp fair.
The event will be held at Trinity High School on Saturday, November 12 - the same venue where the society held its popular 30th anniversary fair.
More than 20 stamp and postcard dealers will be on hand to offer a wide variety of stamps, accessories, postal history items and postcards.
It will also be the venue for both the autumn conventions of the Midland Philatelic Federation and the Three Counties Federation of Philatelic Societies.
Entries in 10 federation competitions will be on display and trophies will also be presented at the event.
Several philatelic societies have arranged to hold meetings during the day, including the Scandinavian Philatelic Society and the Midland (GB) Postal History Society, the Royal Philatelic Society London will also hold a country meeting at the event.
Entrance costs 50p and everyone is welcome.
The society has also published a postcard showing some of the village postmarks of Redditch to commemorate its anniversary year, which will be on sale at the fair.
A society spokesman said: "Our philosophy has not changed, our hobby should be fun and the day is for philately.
"We don't seek to make a profit but to provide a forum for dealers and philatelists of all types to come together.
"We're sure the mix of dealers present will mean there is something for everyone."
The society meets on the first Monday and third Thursday of the month from September to June at St George's Community Hall, St George's, from 8pm.
