KIDDERMINSTER karate kid Connor Porter was doing an Irish jig after returning from his first international competition in Dublin with a bronze medal.
The Winspers Schools of BlackBelts youngster finished third at the Irish Rumble Martial Arts Championships in Leixlip.
Connor, aged nine, took on rivals from across Great Britain after being asked to represent Winspers at the invitation only event.
In his first bout, Connor recovered from going six points down to win 10-6, before storming into the semi-final where he was narrowly defeated by Daniel James, from Halesown Winspers, who went on to grab gold.
