Southside 2, Badsey Rgrs U-11 7
THE signs of a Badsey revival had been there for all to see at Broadway seven days earlier and Saturday's game against the league leaders confirmed that promise.
Rangers went ahead after five minutes when Dan Lamb nodded in a cross from James Schembri.
Southside were level within five minutes but Badsey regained the lead when Jack Milward's corner was driven home by Lamb.
Badsey keeper Louis Sutton made several good saves and his opposite number also shone as the half ended 2-1 in Badsey's favour.
Jack Hughes and Tom Attwood defended well and midfielders Alex Trotman and Nick Remfry combined to set up Attwood for a third.
Trotman then smashed a terrific drive into the top corner and Badsey were rampant and Milward coolly slotted in a fifth after an excellent build-up involving David Stanley and Kieran Court.
Schembri then went on a stunning run that ended with another long range netbuster and the scoring was completed in the last minute when Johnathan Bell netted following more tenacious work by Milward.
Evesham Utd U-15 3,
RC Warwick 1
UNITED prepared for this Saturday's league clash at Worce-ster City with a warm-up victory.
Having lost their first league game at Gloucester by the odd goal in seven and also endured a couple of narrow friendly defeats against Yate Town and a Witney League XI, last weekend's was a welcome win.
The goals came from Adam Styles, Lewis Dallard and Joe Ford.
Bretforton U-9 1,
Evesham Utd Jnrs 4
A GOOD all-round team performance saw Evesham dominate the first half when they benefited from a strong wind.
They managed a brace of goals from Joe Miller and were thwarted only by fine saves by the Bretforton goalkeeper in their attempts to extend their lead.
The home side replied early in the second half, but couldn't resist the persistent pressure from Evesham and a further two goals from Miller secured a well deserved league victory for the visitors.
Solihull Boro 4,
Evesham Utd Robins U-8 2
EVESHAM'S young players performed courageously against a strong Central Warwickshire League side.
The Robins made a great start when Nicholas Leahy broke through to shoot across the keeper and find the net.
James Hornblow then added a second when he placed the ball past the oncoming keeper.
Unfortunately, Borough grabbed one back before half-time and then hit a purple patch in the second half with three quick goals.
For the remainder of the game, Evesham kept their hosts at bay and might have added to their own score but both Jordan Nailor and Callum Stayte had good attempts saved.
