CLEOBURY Mortimer are finding their feet in Midlands Four West South after an impressive 34-12 away victory at Marconi Coventry.
With prop Hylton Smith ill and captain Allan Shields unavailable, Jon Banford and Tom Griffiths were handed rare starts.
Griffiths justified his place by getting the ball rolling with the opening try. Julian Harding added the extras to put Cleobury 7-5 up at the break.
In the second half they racked up a further five tries with Steve Morris , Jamie Taylor, Colin Todd, Willie Bache and James Manley all on the mark, and Harding kicking another conversion.
There was less joy for Cleobury seconds who suffered a 44-10 defeat at home to local rivals Ludlow.
A first half battering saw Cleobury trail 32-0 at the break but they recovered to score 10 second half points of their own.
Andrew Davies and John Wilks touched down.
