THIEVES broke into the charity's shop in Lye between 5pm over the night of October 14.
A collecting box was disturbed, but money is never left in the box, or the till, overnight. A box of pin badges and the vacuum cleaner were also stolen.
The break-in cost the charity between £300 and £400, including damages and the items stolen. This amount would feed 16 abandoned kittens for a month, or would pay for 26 abandoned cats to have a health check.
