LAW and order issues most worrying Bewdley residents can be raised during a groundbreaking meeting in the town next week.
Police and representatives of their partnership agencies will be quizzed during the Partners and Community Together - PACT - meeting at Bewdley High School on Tuesday from 7pm.
The PACT initiative is part of a Government drive to encourage teams of police officers dedicated to a particular area tackling local issues at local level with partners and the community.
West Mercia Constabulary's North Worcestershire division, which includes Wyre Forest, is one of just 43 areas nationally to have been chosen for the scheme, under the banner of Local Policing.
Bewdley beat manager, PC Barter, said: "PACT is a new initiative and is all about problem solving on a local level.
"We think it is important that people know who their beat manager is and how they can be contacted.
"This PACT meeting - the second of its kind to be held in West Mercia - will be an opportunity for local residents to talk face-to-face with me as their beat manager."
