ACTION in the Cotswold Floorball League started up again after the school holidays with action in the A Division on Tuesday.
Stow showed that they will be a difficult team to beat by holding Chipping Campden School to just three goals.
George Woodall with two and Conall Davies did the damage despite the best efforts of the Stow team, especially Hayden Elsdale in goal.
The winners then went on to beat Temple Guiting 8-1 as Davies scored another two, a feat repeated by Will Valli and Max Outteridge.
Harry Pinfold and Toby Robinson added a goal apiece, while Luke Tatlow deservedly scored Guiting's consolation.
The final match of the night seemed to be settled when two Harry Gaden goals and one from Jack Aldridge gave Stow a 3-0 lead.
Venetia Martin, though, put her team back in the hunt with two well-taken scores only for Aldridge and Kieran Shoemark to put Stow further ahead.
A determined rally brought another Guiting goal from Will Twiston-Davies but time ran out on them with the score at 5-3 to Stow.
Next week will be action from the B Division when CCS, St James, Willersey and Longborough lock horns.
