A NEW business in Worcester is hoping the saying 'Where there's muck, there's brass', will ring true.
Partners John Williams and Steve Jones have set up their own bin cleaning firm in a bid to capitalise on the new wheelie bins being provided to people living in Worcester.
Wheelie Clean, as it is called, will take on the dirty job of cleaning out the new bins.
Mr Williams said: "They are going to get mucky very quickly but neither me nor Steve is frightened of getting our hands dirty.
"There is a ready-made client base. I don't think many people would relish the thought of getting up to their elbows in grime."
idea was actually Steve's as he was looking for a way of getting out of Kay's, which is in trouble. I run a newsagent at the moment and I would like a job that didn't require getting up at 5am.
"Also,The venture has the backing of Worcester City Councillor Margaret Layland, who has a trial clean from the firm.
She said: "I was impressed by their efficiency and the environmentally-friendly cleaning materials they used.
"I think Wheelie Clean is a great idea and could prove as popular as window cleaning in Worcester."
