DARTS: Maximums from Batchley's Andy Wilson and Arrow Valley's Dave Nicholls helped their sides into the next round of the Jack Cook Cup. The Batchley Club eased through 14-7 against the Lygon while Arrow Valley were 13-8 victors over the Trades.
Other sides through were Queens A who beat Black Horse for the second week running 14-7 while Red Lion A won the last three games to sneak through 11-10 at Mount Pleasant.
In the Division Two Whadcoat Cup, the tie of the evening was at the Astwood Bank Club where visitors Centrepoint grabbed an 11-10 win. Elsewhere, Stuart Sullivan's 180 helped the Kings Arms to a 14-7 victory over Queens B while the Seven Stars ran out 13-8 winners at the Gate.
Nearly £800 was raised for charity when the league played host to the Sports Argus team at the Centrepoint Club on Friday. Each side left with £390 to donate to charity of their choice.
The honours at the oche went to the Sports Argus who won 5-4, Keith Hill, Mark Baylis, Paul Lewis and Paul Harber winning for the home side.
