ANOTHER "must" for the enthusiastic car accessory collector intent on adorning his vehicle with all the latest devices for comfort is a draught excluder, at present being promoted by Bennett Tools Ltd, of Redditch.
It's a plastic concave screen, which slots into the rear portion of the driving window, and "scoops" out of the car the slip stream of air which normally passes over the driver's shoulder into the back seat.
One Redditch man who has tried it out is Mr G Ostrournoff, a garage proprietor in the town, who commented: "It's the cat's whiskers. It keeps the rain out too."
Marketed by GL Harris, and Co Ltd of Redditch, full production of the screen is expected to take place in about six weeks.
