I was saddened to read the many letters regarding proposals to move local hospital services to Worcester.
Twelve years ago, my dad died in a Birmingham hospital after spending eight hours on a trolley bed and being misdiagnosed by a junior doctor.
My mom was advised to leave him after he was settled on a ward only to receive a call, hours later, saying he had died. My dad died in pain, alone. I would like to know which health official/manager is prepared to be accountable should similar tragedies happen at Worcester.
