A GIANT Guy will take centre stage at Bromsgrove's civic bonfire and fireworks spectacular on Sunday.
The Guy, hoisted into the hot seat on top of the huge fire in Sanders Park, off Kidderminster Road has been made by youngsters from Activzone a multi-activity group which meets at the Dolphin Centre in Bromsgrove.
Thousands are expected for what promises to be a feast of fun. The event is organised by the district council and starts with a funfair at 3pm with live music beginng at 4.30pm.
Council chairman Cllr Jill Dyer will light the bonfire at 7pm and the countdown to the fireworks starts at 7.30pm.
As usual entrance to the park is free, but a collection will be taken on the gate for the chairman's chosen charities.
There is plenty of parking in the town centre and the Churchfields multi-storey will stay open until 10pm.
