THE Bullets basketball team shot to the top of the Worcestershire Girls Junior Division after defeat the Pacers at the Ryland Centre on October 28.
The team showed character to peg back Pacers side that had come out of the blocks with all guns blazing.
Bromsgrove had been stunned by three baskets in the opening minutes by the Pacers.
However, coach Jon Miller called his side together and after a quick inspirational talk he managed to get the Bullets back on track.
Pressure from Izzie Collings and Callan Biggs and solid defending by Laura Hambrook turned the game around.
Natalie Smith and Konnika Edge got into the scoring groove as they edged Bromsgrove back into the game.
In the second quarter Stacey Heasom and Sarah Watkins took control as Bromsgrove streaked ahead to 24-12.
Despite a fight back by the Pacers in the penultimate quarter, scoring by Edge, Hambrook and Heasom kept the Bullets ahead. In the final period Bromsgrove kept the pressure on to make sure of victory.
