THERE will be a fun event with a feathery theme in Feckenham this month.
Countryside Bird Farm, Gardens and Pottery, in Droitwich Road, usually closes to the public at the end of October but will be open on Sunday, November 13.
People will be able to look around the farm from 11am-1.45pm and see the birds and there will be a limited amount of stock for sale, including mini white silkies and Wyandottes. At 2pm, proceedings will move to Feckenham Village Hall for the Bird Garden Christmas party.
There will be a bric-a-brac table and plenty of potential Christmas presents to buy.
A light buffet and refreshments will be available. Cost is £2.50 or £1.50 for children.
The event is being held to raise funds towards a customer toilet at the farm and to rebuild the farm shop.
It will also help launch the Chick Chat Club, an informal meeting to be held once a month where people can talk to others about poultry keeping experiences, whe-ther novice, experienced or prospective keepers.
