ALCESTER residents are being asked for their views on housing as part of a joint project carried out by Stratford and Warwick district councils.
The councils are carrying out a survey face-to-face and via a postal questionnaire to find out how happy people are with their homes and whether they meet their current and future needs.
Councillor Gillian Roache, Stratford's portfolio holder for living in the district, said the results would help determine the number and type of new homes required by local people over the next few years.
"We can only make good policy decisions if we have quality data on which to base them. I would urge anyone receiving a survey form to complete and return it as soon as possible," she said.
Letters and forms were sent out to random addresses last week. Information will be treated in confidence and will be used only for the purposes of the survey.
