A HOSPITAL boss turned muck into brass when his entry coupon for a green waste contest was found in a sack he put out for recycling.
The chairman of South Worcestershire Primary Care Trust was the lucky recipient of £100 in a scheme to encourage more householders to recycle their household waste.
The coupon David Barlow, of Tennis Walk, Worcester, filled in for the Target 75 competition was selected at random by waste sorters at Worcestershire County Council, which ran the contest under the Government-funded Waste and Resources Action Programme
Target 75 aims to persuade at least 75 per cent of Worcestershire households to take advantage of doorstep collection services.
Project development officer Tania Field said: "Newsletters containing competition coupons went out in free newspapers and a winning coupon was selected at random in each council district during July, August, September and October."
