THE district's Macmillan Nurses are to be based at the new hospice enabling them to work closely with the health care professionals within Kemp.
They are in the process of moving from their former base at Stourport Health Centre.
These specialist nurses are dedicated to easing the physical and emotional pain of life-threatening illnesses and supporting the patient in their own home, along with their family.
Kemp was responsible for funding the Macmillan Nurses for a number of years but that burden has now been taken over by the district's Primary Care Trust.
