WYRE Forest is being given a £17,115 central government cash boost to help it recycle rubbish.
Defra announced the recycling grant as part of a £20 million package distributed among local authorities for 2004-05.
Wychavon District Council receives £23,318 under the scheme, which Environment Minister Elliot Morley said he expected would lead to cash savings for local authorities.
