LONDON Irish boss Gary Gold is anxious to repeat the Exiles' cup success of 2002 -- but admits Premiership newcomers Worcester Warriors present a sizeable first hurdle.

The South African looked ahead to tomorrow's sixth round Powergen showdown and said: "We won this competition two years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The memories are fresh enough to make us want to do so again.

"But we have no illusions about the difficulty of the task facing us tomorrow. Worcester are a form team, especially at home."

Irish have been lifted by the return to the side of skipper Kieron Dawson following the openside's lengthy spell on the sidelines with a knee injury.
