ANXIOUS parents from north Worcestershire are meeting next week to co-ordinate their campaign to fight school closure in the area.
The Wyre Forest review proposes to merge schools in the region, transforming the three-tiers of first, middle and high schools to the more common two-tier system.
Parents in Kidderminster and Stourport-upon-Severn criticised the plans at meetings with the county council last summer and are now preparing to mount fresh opposition.
A meeting to decide on the best course of action will be held at Stone CE First School, in Stone, near Kidderminster, at 7.30pm on Monday, April 26. Everyone is welcome.
