A PLETHORA of television stars are promising to keep audiences hooked tomorrow night when a drama is staged at a Gloucestershire theatre.
The Gentle Hook will be performed for the last night at the Everyman in Cheltenham, and the cast includes The Bill's Chris Ellison, Doctor In The House star Geoffrey Davies, Deborah Grant, of Bergerac fame, and The New Avengers star Gareth Hunt.
The cast is completed by Tony Scannell, also of The Bill, and West End actress Carolyn Lister.
An Everyman spokeswoman said: "As well as providing a performance packed with a plot that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats, this production sees the reunion of one of television's most popular police partnerships - Burnside and Roach from The Bill on stage for the first time!"
The tale centres on Stacey Harrison - a charming, sophisticated and highly successful businesswoman who gets involved in complicated and mysterious circumstances, including death and divorce.
Tickets, which range in price from £8.50 to £19.50, can be purchased by calling the box office on 01242 572573 or by visiting www.everyman theatre.org.uk
