TO mark the feast of All Souls' Day, which falls on November 2, there will be a benefice memorial service in Birtsmorton Church at 6.30pm on Sunday. It will provide us all with an opportunity to remember loved ones who have died and to give thanks to God for their lives.
The service will be quiet and reflective and it is intended for our rector, The Rev. Michael Rogers, to read out the names of those who are to be remembered. In addition, there will be an opportunity for you to light a candle. The candles will be left to burn out of their own accord as a silent pray.
If you would like someone's name read out, do please let Mr Rogers have it as soon as possible on (01684) 833230. Everyone is welcome to attend, regardless of when the person you wish to come and remember died.
