THIS Sunday, there is a united benefice service at St James' Church, Callow End at 10.30am, conducted by The Rev. Douglas Walker, celebrating All Souls' and All Saints' days.
On Sunday afternoon at 3.30pm, historian David Oliver will talk on the history of Powick Church after a short walk around the outside of the church. Cost is £2, children free and includes tea and biscuits. The event is organised by the Friends of St Peter's.
A date of for your diary - Link Nurseries, off Hospital Lane, Powick will hold a coffee morning on Wednesday, November 9 from 10am to noon. Coffee or tea and biscuits are free. There are raffle tickets, produce and plants for sale plus orders will be taken for Christmas holly wreaths and arrangements and bulbs for Christmas. All welcome.
