I just thought I would write to all the dog owners out there who let their dogs foul in the grass at Madresfield.
I went conker picking in Madresfield every year as a child and now take my children there each year. We live in Worcester and went to Madresfield on Sunday, October 23. My five-year-old twin boys and eight-year-old daughter were very excited at the thought of collecting conkers. We plant them and my husband has actually managed to grow trees from them, three are in Warndon Villages, planted by the tree warden.
We parked the car in a layby and started looking for conkers. All of a sudden my daughter started crying, up her leg was splattered what we first thought was mud. We then looked closer and realised it was dog poo.
Thanks to a thoughtless dog owner, not only did we have to cut short our walk, as my daughter was distressed, we could not go on to the retail park in Malvern and had to head back home and throw away her trainers as they were so messy it was impossible to clean them.
