A DECISION over the future of the Pickersleigh Road health centre project should made by next month.
Malvern Hills District Council's executive committee said such an important decision should be taken by the full council, which meets on Tuesday, November 8.
The project, to build a new centre for two Malvern surgeries, ran into trouble when developer McAlpine said it could not guarantee to get it built within budget.
The developer wants MHDC to cut the price of the old depot site from £500,000 to £400,000 and pay for extra costs of £125,000.
At the executive committee meeting on Tuesday, Coun Paul Cumming said there were a lot of unanswered questions.
He said: "We should request senior members of McAlpine and South Worcestershire PCT to come to the meeting and explain what's going on."
