FOR the third year running, the redwood tree in Priory Park will be sparkling with lights.
Malvern Rotary Club, with the help of Malvern Hills District Council, has organised a Tree of Light.
People can sponsor lights in remembrance of family and friends who are not with them at Christmas.
The sponsorship raises money for Childline, St Richard's Hospice and Macmillan Cancer Relief.
Last year, the tree raised £8,000, split between St Richard's, Macmillan and Polio Plus, Rotary's campaign to eradicate polio.
"This was made possible by the sponsorship of lives celebrated and by the tremendous contribution and of local businesses," said Ralph Kelsall, Rotary's president.
Anyone who wants to sponsor a light can use the form printed below, or collect one at the customer contact centre at the library, Graham Road.
The lights on the tree will be officially switched on at a ceremony at 6.30pm on Monday, December 5.
