MEMBERS of Arden Sailing Club competed in the last race of the Arden Burgee series on Sunday.
Five classes of dinghy were represented when the wind from the west provided a long beat down river for the first leg of the course.
The Enterprise of Niall Campbell, crewed by Jane Smee, led the fleet away and profited from clean air to extend a good lead sufficient to win after handicaps had been calculated.
Second was the Comet of Keith Stevens beating the Heron of David Bryden on handicap by only eight seconds.
David Bryden had his revenge in his second meeting with Stevens when on corrected time, Bryden was the winner by almost 1.5 minutes.
Campbell and Smee took a second win ahead of Alan Salerman, crewed by David Stephen, from third-placed Keith Hylton, crewed by daughter Nikki, in the Enterprise class race.
