TEENAGERS Jamie Lennard and Callum Black have been handed full-time contracts at Worcester Warriors.
The academy duo have been offered deals that keep them at Sixways until May 2007.
Lennard began training with Worcester's academy in April and made his first team debut in this month's Powergen Cup match at Leicester Tigers.
The 19-year-old full-back has been involved in rugby for less than three years. He was spotted by Worcester's academy manager Andrew Stanley at Hartpury College, where Lennard is taking a BSc degree in sports coaching and conditioning.
Lennard said: "If anyone would have told me eight months ago, when I was playing in Gloucestershire Division Three North, that I would be making my debut for the Warriors at Welford Road, I would not have believed them. It has all happened so quickly and I am very keen to prove myself."
Prop Black, also 19, has figured in all of Worcester's Guinness 'A' League matches so far this season.
He said: "I enjoyed the pre-season training with the academy and am thrilled to be given the opportunity to step up to the first team."
Stanley added: "I am extremely pleased for Jamie and Callum. They have worked hard and have great potential. They are both at Hartpury College studying for degrees."
