A HAT-trick of hippo births has set a record at West Midland Safari Park.
The arrivals of three baby hippos in just five weeks have swelled the numbers of the mammals to 11 at the Bewdley-based tourist attraction, making it the largest herd of its type in the country.
Park chiefs have still to determine the gender of the newest arrival, born to proud mother, Friday, and father, Garfield, earlier this month.
The other two baby hippos were born in August.
