FIRST Great Western Link is entering into the spirit of Halloween next week with ghosts and ghouls on the platforms of stations including Evesham and Moreton.
Between 3pm and 6pm on Monday staff in ghostly costumes will be distributing treats to passengers.
Entertainers will also be on hand to share their best ghost stories and create little ghostly characters with face painting for children.
The Cotswold Line from London Paddington to Hereford runs regular services from the capital through Oxfordshire to Worcester and Hereford.
The company has prepared a list of haunted premises close to stations on the line.
Keen ghost hunters in Moreton are being directed to The White Hart Royal, a 17th century coaching in the High Street which claims to be haunted by a ghostly male figure and the Manor House Hotel which has been haunted by a former resident for the past 200 years.
Travellers alighting at Pershore are not far from Prestbury - alleged to be the most haunted village in England. There they may glimpse the Black Abbot or a rider on horseback wearing full armour.
Nearby Winchcombe is also reputed to be haunted by a hooded ghost often seen in The Monk's Walk.
