BEER drinkers in Evesham are in for a treat as one of the town's favourite pubs launches its twice-yearly beer festival on Monday.
Melanie Burton, who manages the Olde Swanne Inne in High Street has selected 20 different beers - including two from the Continent - for the two-week festival. All will be priced at £1.59.
The guest beers include Hardy & Hanson's Gunpowder Plot from Nottingham, Charles Wells Banana Bread Beer from London, Anker Ambrio from Belgium and St Georgenbrau Keller Bier from Germany.
Melanie said: "The festival will give people the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of wonderful tasting beers from brewers across the UK which are not normally available in the area."
The festival launch at Halloween will include a fancy dress event to raise money for the pub's adopted charity Clic, the country's leading children's cancer charity.
