Kidderminster historian Robert Barber talked about the history of Kidderminster Bull Ring from the 1870s, the floods in 1955 and the building of Crown House.
His second book about Kidderminster was won by Gill Munslow, who found inside a picture of a house she once lived in.
Mrs Burbey organised a 90th birthday party for the group.
Members walked a total of 90 miles, then gathered at St Cassian's Church, Chaddesley Corbett for tea. Many of the ladies have almost reached a personal 90-mile target.
Coming events include a group meeting, and a visit to the Rose Theatre, Kidderminster.
The annual meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 8, when there will be a "bring and buy" sale.
