The 35th anniversary of the group was celebrated with a dance at the Harriers Club, Kidderminster, attended by more than 200 people.
The first meetings were at a flat in Bewdley, attended by eight people from Kidderminster, and the Bewdley resident.
One of the original members, Nell Edgington, was presented with a bouquet.
Music for the dancing was provided by Gareth Floyd.
The club has members who are widowed, divorced or single, who have an interest in sequence or ballroom dancing, meeting and conversing with people in similar circumstances, and having a good time. Meetings are every Tuesday at 7.45pm at St George's Club, Radford Avenue, Kidderminster.
