IT may seem strange that a provincial gallery at the edge of the Cotswolds should be staging an exhibition of City Scenes, but as the gallery owner Noric Dorn says "with worldwide travel now so easy major cities of the world can play a major part in our imaginations and memories'.
The Cityscapes exhibition at Retrospectives Gallery in Stratford devotes the whole gallery to views of major cities with special emphasis on Manhattan and New York.
The exhibition at the Minories in Stratford runs until October 31 and is free to view from 10am to 5pm each day.
Refreshments are available in the open-air courtyard outside the Gallery-which is just opposite Shakespeare's Birthplace.
