A GREAT Witley man is one of the two founders of a credit information website that has earned a place in the Good Website Guide 2006.
Peter Kent is joint managing director of checkmyfile.com, which helps people make sense of their credit reference scores.
Among other web pages that have made it into the guide are Jamie Oliver's and the Financial Times.
The guide describes the checkmyfile.com site as "very useful and informative".
Mr Kent said: "It is great to get an entry in the Good Website Guide, which is a firm reflection of our team's hard work and our commitment to customer service."
He added: "We launched checkmyfile.com to help consumers understand their credit reference and score, which touches many aspects of our daily lives, such as applying for a credit card."
The site has more than 20,000 visits each day.
