TWO former soldiers who formed a band while based in Germany during the first Gulf War are looking for the third long-lost member.
Charlie Bevan and Rich 'Spud' Williams are looking for ex-singer and guitarist John Williams, who was from Worcestershire, as a collection of songs by their band X-ceptions To The Rule has been put onto a CD.
Charlie said: "Songs like Living On The Edge were written about the fears of going to war, which is ultimately what we did.
"Being a medical unit, we were split up and went to different parts of the conflict.
"John Williams went to the Gulf with 32 artillery.
"Times have moved on and we have been out of the army for some time. We have different jobs, wives and children now. We want to contact or meet up with John to pass on the CD and catch up."
If anyone knows John Williams, they can call Charlie on 07984 160711, or Spud on 01706 869231.
