DARTS: Some of the West Midlands' leading players will be in Redditch on Friday to boost a number of good causes.
Astwood Bank Winter Darts League will play host to the Sports Argus Charity Team, the action at Ipsley Street's Centrepoint Club starting at 8.30pm.
Admission is free but darts fans can boost the charity coffers by buying a programme or taking part in the raffle.
In the league, Batchley stormed to an impressive 19-2 win at Mount Pleasant, helped by Andy Wilson's 180, while the highly-rated Black Horse were beaten 13-8 by Queens A.
The only other maximum came in the hard-fought match between Trades and the Lygon, the former edging to an 11-10 win with Nigel Cox hitting the 180.
Results - Division One: Trades 11, Lygon 10; Arrow Valley 13, Red Lion A 8; Queens A 13, Black Horse 8; Mount Pleasant 2, Batchley 19.
Division Two: Gate 13, Queens B 8, Kings 13, Centrepoint 8; Astwood Bank 11, Coach House 10; Lodge Park 6, Seven Stars 15.
