Football: Midland Combination
FECKENHAM'S roller-coaster season continued at the weekend when they crashed to a 4-1 defeat at a Bolehall Swifts side they had already beaten earlier in the season.
And manager Lee Adams knows his side face a testing week ahead with tough games against an in-form Pershore Town side and the big-spending Barnt Green Spartak.
Bolehall swept the Millers aside with a four-goal haul before the break, Scott Walsh's second half strike ensuring the visitors claimed the second half spoils.
"We played the better football but failed to hurt them," Adams explained. "They broke three times in the first 20 minutes before Chris Wilkie missed a good chance for us which may have put us back into the game.
"It is very frustrating at the moment. We can play very, very well one game and then put in a poor performance in the next."
Pershore Town are the visitors to the Valley Stadium for tonight's league match fresh from their 3-1 defeat of high-flyers Bridgnorth Town.
And Barnt Green will be anxious for three points to keep their title challenge alive when they make the trip on Saturday.
"I love pitting my wits against sides throwing large amounts of money around," the Millers manager added. "It is not good for football at this level to try and buy the league."
Adams looks like being without Mark Davies for both matches after he aggravated a hamstring injury.
