MONDAY night was terrific -- one of those special nights that Worcester City supporters will remember forever.

I honestly believe beating Accrington Stanley, in current circumstances, represents one of the biggest results in our club's history.

If you take into account the many injured or unavailable players, those playing out of position, and the fact we were 2-0 down against one of the best Conference sides, it was a huge achievement.

Let's not forget we were drawn away from home. It was the second hardest draw in the FA Cup and we did superbly to earn a replay.

The crowd played their part in our success. The atmosphere was electric and the supporters got right behind the lads. When the atmosphere's like that, it makes a big difference. It's intimidating for the opposition.

After conceding two early goals, the fans could have gone quite. But they kept encouraging because they knew we were playing well enough to get back into the game.

We thoroughly deserved to win. I could not have asked for anything more from the lads.

They worked so hard, for the second time in three days, ag-ainst a full-time side and in hea-vy conditions. It was outstanding.

What pleased me most was their belief that we were not going to lose. We made a bright opening, but undeservedly went 2-0 down. A lot of people probably thought we had no chance at that point, but we are made of strong stuff.

It's difficult picking out individual players as they were all excellent.

But Liam McDonald showed great character, because he is not a natural wing-back and he is struggling with an ankle injury.

I don't think he would have played in normal circumstances, but we needed him out there. To play as well as he did, out of position, is of huge credit.

Tom Warmer was absolutely superb. He covered every blade of grass and won us the free-kick, surging into the box, that led to the winning goal.

Since Tom got back into the team, he's been excellent. I had a little word with him early in the season and told him his opportunity would come. He has since taken it and his attitude has been great.

Again, I though Danny Hodnett steadied things and Sam Wedgbury caused Accrington lots of problems. He scored a magnificent goal and it was cruel not to have stood.

I was pleased for Rob Warner because he's playing really well. At first, I didn't know who scored the winning goal.

I'm just glad Rob was there to put it in!

We face Chippenham Town in the First Round of the FA Cup. I really don't think there's going to be a favourite in this one.

They are in a good position in the Southern Premier Division and playing well. I'm sure they are just as pleased with the draw.

For a lot of our players, it will certainly be the biggest game of their careers.
