STAFF and children at Dodford First School have been putting the finishing touches to a new outdoor classroom which boasts an unusual living roof.Under one roof: Laura Rollinson, aged seven, and Matthew Verhaeg, six, with the new outdoor classroom.
The open-sided classroom has been designed by staff and children. Shrubs and flowers in nearby beds were planted by children from reception to year four. The 'living' roof has been planted with hundreds of low growing sedums, houseleeks and mosses. The school's council is now planning to raise funds for bird feeders and plants to create a sensory garden.
