VOLUNTEERS will work their green-fingered magic on the Alexandra Hospital's Memorial Garden for Babies on Saturday.
The hospital's League of Friends is joining forces with the Community Services Volunteers (CSV) Action Desk to get the garden in shape for the warmer months.
They will be planting daffodils for the spring and roses, clematis, yellow hops and ivies, which will provide a splash of colour throughout the summer and into autumn.
Companies in the area have donated a wealth of materials including compost and fertilisers.
The event is being held as part of the CSV Make a Difference Day.
It is also hoped BBC Hereford and Worcester gardening experts Mike George and Reg Moule will broadcast their popular show live from the garden.
Members of the White Heart Gardening Society will start work at 9am.
Anyone wishing to take part is asked to call Deb or Sue on 0845 300 5006 and they will need their own spades.
