THE deputy leader of the Liberal Democrats enjoyed an evening in Studley on Friday.
Sir Menzies Campbell CBE and MP for Fife in Scotland was the guest of honour at a dinner of the Warwickshire Liberal Democrat, held at Studley Village Hall.
Fellow guest and Stratford District Councillor for Studley, Hazel Wright said: "The evening went really well. The village hall proved to be the perfect venue for this type of occasion."
She said the topic of the downgrading of the Alexandra Hospital was high on the night's agenda.
"Sir Campbell expressed the view that this was something we should work hard to prevent," added Mrs Wright.
