INKBERROW First School has been awarded almost £5,000 to develop links with African schools.
The Main Road school was selected to receive the first part of a three-year Global Curriculum Project Grant for its work with the Goodnews and Kansenshi Basic schools in Ndola in Zambia.
Pupils have been exchanging letters and schoolwork through the Pershore-Ndola Community Partnership.
The grant will enable teachers to visit the schools and work with partners to develop classroom resources.
For more details, call Pershore-Ndola Community Partnership chairman Steve Curtis on 01386 860432 or e-mail steve.curtis@classresource.co.uk
