WORCESTER police have repeated an appeal for the parents of a boy approached by a man in CrownGate Shopping Centre to come forward and help with their enquiries.
They issued a description of the boy last Monday, October 17, but despite wide media publicity, no one has come forward.
The boy - who was alone and carrying a balloon - was on the 'down' escalator in the Huntingdon Arcade Centre when the incident occurred at about 12.50pm on Saturday, October 15.
It was spotted by a security guard and the young boy was later seen on CCTV meeting up with what are believed to be his father, mother and sister. He is described as white, aged approximately eight years old, 4ft tall, with short, brown hair and wearing a light cream/brown top, possibly with diagonal stripes and cream/light trousers.
Anyone who recognises the boy's description and can identify him and/or his family, is asked to call police on 08457 444888, quoting 240S/151005.
