WORCESTER Warriors director of rugby John Brain has agreed a contract extension that will keep him at Six-ways until the summer of 2008.
Brain arrived at the club in 2001 and masterminded Worcester's promotion to the Premiership 18 months ago. This season he has brought in head coach Anthony Eddy and the duo have guided the club to fifth in the table after five matches.
His current deal was due to expire at the end of the current campaign, but chairman Cecil Duckworth was keen to secure the services of the former Gloucester lock.
"I am delighted that John will be with the club for at least three more years and, I hope, many more," said Duckworth.
"I am very confident that he can build on what we have already ach-ieved which, is very significant. I am also sure that all our supporters and players will welcome this news."
