MALVERN cyclist Liam Killeen has been called up to the England team to compete at the 2006 Commonwealth Games in Melbourne.
Killeen won a bronze medal in mountain biking at the last Commonwealth Games in Manchester. He followed that up with a fifth place finish in last year's Olympics.
The county racer has been on form this year.
He won the gruelling 101km race at the Marathon World Cup event in Canada and was the highest-placed Commonwealth mountain bike rider in the World Cup Series.
