COLWALL travelled to Martley in the Sunday Worcester premier division and got a much needed and morale boosting win after a difficult last few weeks.
MARTLEY SPURS 3, COLWALL ST JAMES 5
Colwall found their scoring boots this week and found the net five times through Craig Kitchener (one) and man-of-the-match Luke Badham, who scored four times in a game for the second time this season.
In an evenly contested game, Colwall went ahead early on but were soon level after being caught napping at the back.
Colwall then pushed forward and scored a second to go into half-time 2-1 ahead.
Martley took the game to Colwall after the re-start and found themselves level again before Colwall managed to claim the points with a second-half hat-trick from Badham to seal the game before a late consolation goal for Martley, whose scorers were Rich Taylor and Nick Herbert respectively.
