Like Keith Berry (Your Letters, October 14), I do not favour out-of-town
hospitals. However, he does not need to use a car to get to the Royal Worcestershire Hospital.
He and many others can travel there from Malvern on the 44 bus, which will drop them at the hospital main entrance or other points within the hospital site, avoiding the well-known parking problems. This will also leave spaces available for the few patients who really need to be taken to the hospital by car.
It's also unnecessary to use a car to go from most parts of Malvern to our out-of-town shopping centre. Why not use the 41 or 43 bus, which stops conveniently between Morrisons and the other shops?
