BROMSGROVE Rovers will be hoping their remarkable run of form can hold out for one of the biggest games in the club's recent history.
Rovers have swept all before them in winning eight of their last nine league and cup games.
Three of those have been in the FA Cup, against Newcastle Town, Hinckley and Halesowen, and they have been rewarded with tomorrow's fourth qualifying round home tie with Conference high-fliers Morecambe (3pm).
Success would pocket the club £10,000 and secure a place in tomorrow night's draw for the first round proper along with teams from Coca-Cola League One and Two.
Jimmy Mullen's Southern League Division One West side are riding the crest of a wave with confidence born out of their run and they are ready to tackle a team three levels higher.
Assistant manager Bernard Mackie said: "Confidence is high and with Morecambe being a footballing side it should be a good match. When we played Hinckley and lost a goal in 30 seconds people were thinking the worst and we beat them 3-1.
"We played well the whole 90 minutes against Halesowen and beat them on merit.
"I think we can score and that's going to help us."
Rovers reached this stage two seasons ago when they drew 2-2 at home with Whitby before losing the replay 2-1.
This time, Rovers will want to make home advantage count against the fifth-placed Conference outfit.
"It's a home draw and we will go for it," Mackie said. "We are just glad England aren't playing like last time. We are hoping for a massive crowd."
Right-back Matt Johnson is expected to be part of a full-strength squad, despite playing the last two games with broken ribs. Mackie believes Johnson is a key player and will be rested following the cup tie.
