TWENTY pupils from Malvern Girls' College have been selected to represent Worcestershire following the lacrosse and hockey trials.

For U18 lacrosse, the girls chosen for the first squad are Priya Marwaha, Tina Goodwin, Kemi Greene, Nancy Zhang, Maddy Hurley, Charlie Allan and Ellie Robbins and for the second squad are Addy Lawson, Vicky Perrins, Phoebe Scriven, Kat Innes, Alice Wright and Flora Huntley.

The following girls were also selected for the U15 squad: Fiona Sedgley, Lydia Morris-Jones, Vicky Ellaway-Bell and Abi Sands.

Over 135 girls were present at the U13 and 15 county hockey trials. Phoebe Unwin, in the U13 age group, was selected as were Alice Porter and Laurel Buchanan in the U15s.

The head, Philippa Leggate and the head of physical education, Jane Smallwood have both said how proud they are of the girls and their sporting achievements.
